And that desire to win is simply a sinful one of pride at times. I agree we need to love people on all sides of this to the glory of God.

With gratitude,
Beth HambeltonAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00848978145804674460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1937029335588381712.post-33975455133309981772016-11-10T23:25:46.809-08:002016-11-10T23:25:46.809-08:00I have been observing, deeply, the political arena...I have been observing, deeply, the political arena since the 70's after heeding a warning given by a man of God, Doctor James Dobson. In 1972 or 73 he said that there was a movement to take over our schools, our media and our government with the goal to conquer America's heart.
A second revolution took place in America in the 80's when the silent majority voted for Ronald Reagan, this revolution only lasted for two electoral cycles.
We now are seeing a third revolution when the silent majority has voted again. This new revolution was triggered by a fight against corruption, the need to keep America's sovereignty intact and its people recognizing that it could no longer drift in the direction the corrupt establishment has been guiding it to.
When I cast my vote I thought of the appointments the elected president would make to the Supreme Court. These assignments are not four year assignments, they are lifetime appointments. The social fabric of our nation would be at stake and our children would bear the consequences of having the wrong people in place. One of the candidates had released a list of the potential nominees while the other was known to be inclined to be an extension of the current administration that appointed two lesbians to the Supreme Court.
I am also an immigrant and I long for the America that I once knew when I arrived here in the '60s, but that America is gone.
I stood by what God tells us in Daniel 2:21 "He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning".
The one revolution that will steer this nation back in the right direction will take place when its people sincerely surrender their hearts to Jesus and recognize that not one man nor one woman stand a chance to save this nation.
Carlos Sr.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02766576594096122219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1937029335588381712.post-20606161065386196112016-11-10T21:49:04.379-08:002016-11-10T21:49:04.379-08:00Well said Alan. I had a few of these similar thoughts as I prayerfully went to the voting booth and was able to walk out confidently ONLY because of being settled in God's beautiful and mysterious and comforting Sovereignty!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02953954248543239915noreply@blogger.com
